These rockets are a great deal of fun and being made of fairly soft foam are unlikely to cause any damage.They’re claimed to be soft enough for indoor play that fact that they can reach an altitude of about 100 feet means that the take off speed is quite high so IMO they’re only really suitable for outside use.I tested them with the help of my nephew’s son and daughter who were very enthusiastic about getting the rockets to fly as high as possible – I have no way of measuring the maximum altitude but the claimed 100 feet seems about right.It’s also a subtle way of getting kids to exercise by pumping the foot pad to build up air pressure and running around to collect the rockets after they’ve landed.The launch pads are made of plastic and seem strong enough to survive the attention of most kids.
