My Asus Phoenix RTX3060 V2's fan was making noises after 3 years.The fan would make a scratchy noise and then end up making a lot of noise.Adding to the fact that my GPU had the issue that the fan was constantly at max speed (fixed by updating the vBios, found on the Asus site), it was a terrible experience.Decided to get the replacement fan to fix this.The specifications were like originally on the GPU 12V at 0.45A, even the model/serial number were identical.Swapping the fan is easy, flip the GPU over and there are 4 screws holding the plastic cover from the heatsink. Two are a bit tough to get to, but once they are removed the plastic cover flops over. Don't tug on it since the fan's cable is still connected to the other half. Press the clip and the fan pin should wobble out. Undo the 4 screws holding the fan and then replace the fan. Now you just need to go these steps backwards and the GPU should be as good as new.I do recommend plugging the GPU in the PC to see if the fan works before screwing everything back together.For now, the fan is close to silent. When it dies I'll make an update.The price is really high for objectively nothing, tho, therefore -2 stars. A fan shouldn't cost 10€ if you can get an ssd for almost the same money.
