The only thing is the clips that hold the mask to your face fall off constantly I have lost one in a clean out when it was desperately needed rendering the mask useless not happy about that

broke within the first 10 minutes of use.

I am surrounded by different chemicals and fumes every day it Essential to protect myself.This mask is perfect. It filters the chemicals and fumes out and allows me to work better and longer.The mask is comfortable, and the filter can easily be changed.

This respirator mask setup is way more serious than the simple washable filter masks I've purchased in the past for dust - and not all that much more pricey. It may not be certified to certain levels of performance, but you can get other filters to pop on it that ARE certified if thats a concern.The only real issue I can see is if you're trying to keep toxic fumes under control. For wood dust, fiberglass fibers, grinding particles, and similar "floaties" these filters should work great!I wont actually need to use this until I go to lacquer-paint the cabinets for our house. I should know fairly soon how well it filters out the fumes from that (or not). This review will get updated with my honest opinion, when this project takes place. For now, 5 stars to begin with, and it either keeps or loses from there.

I'm a painter and though I don't spray very often but I still do a new construction job every now and then. I just bid a job that will require using a sprayer so I pulled it out to make sure it was still working. While doing so I noticed my old respirator hanging off it. My old respirator is probably 15 years old and has gotten a bit hard and inflexible. The elastic is pretty much shot also. I started to look at cartridges for it and found this listing for an entire new unit with cartridges for about what I would expect to pay for new cartridges. I just tried it on and wow am I glad I ordered this! It's so much more comfortable than my old one and not quite as heavy. Bonus no spider eggs! I don't even mind the pink.
