When I saw this listing I immediately had two uses spring to mind.Firstly they make a great top covering for my gym sessions when I am in my holidays hotel. When I exercise, although I am male, I am in the habit of wearing women's shapewear garments that have a short leg and high waist. I have found that type of constricting pant to help to keep my sensitive bits out of the way of the brutal saddles that are often found on exercise bikes. In my home gym I am quite happy to prance around in such a garment but not in public. These shorts are great for helping me present a decent face to the world. Secondly they can be used to sleep in when they give a nice comfortable feel and are not restrictive. Having now used them I realise that I can also wear them as a normal pair of boxers.The shorts are well made with neat stitching to the seams and an elasticated waistband that helps to provide a comfortable fit. I am a 32" waist which fell between a L and XL. I chose the L at 29.9" because I was mindful that my hip size would be smaller than a women's of the same size waist and I didn't want too much excess material under the waist. It turned out to be a great choice and I am very happy with the fit.These shorts are multipurpose and I will get a lot of use from them but there is one area in which they could be improved. They don't have any pockets. When I use the gym on my hols I change in my room and then walk down to the gym room and I always take some earphones, my phone and a charging cable. A couple of deep pockets would come in handy. That aside I feel that £13.99 is a decent deal for these well made pants.
