One could easily mistake this flux-cored wire for a top make, if there was no packaging suggesting otherwise. It welds really clean with little spatter. As with any flux-cored wire, there is a small amount of spatter but clearly this is on the low side, which makes cleaning up after, easier.As for weld strength; I have welded a steel gate using 5mm angle iron and there is no way it will ever fall apart. In fact, as with many welders and fabricators out there, I used a few sacrificial lengths to hold pieces in place whilst I welded the main structure, breaking them off when no longer required. The holding power was as good as any MMA weld!This isn't Lincoln nor Miller but it is on par without a doubt. The flux leave little in the way of slag, which again, makes cleaning ideal. I would highly recommend it for car bodywork as well. Being that my son welded his Mitsubishi Evolution's rear chassis - a common problem apparently. He was more than satisfied with the strength and appearance, so too was the MOT tester!If you are on the lookout but unsure about this wire, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
