I made soap with the mold and it definitely held up. The walls of the mould are quite thick and sturdy. The only downside is that it’s not perfectly square as one of the walls tends to bend inwards.

I love the size of this mold. I too have had troubles unmolding soap from this mold. I even tore one and was at a loss as to the "why". One day I was obliged to leave the house for an extended period shortly after filling the mold. As a result I was much longer than usual getting back to it to unmold, so the soap was quite cool. Boom, popped right out, with very little effort, comparatively speaking. The soaps I had previously tried to unmold and struggled with were several degrees warmer. And I know I had down right rushed the loaf by several degrees the time I tore the (previous) mold. I did build a little box from popsicle sticks to combat the bowing of a full mold (don't forget a floor, too), and it was worth the little effort.

J’en ai coupé 5, d'une taille convenable.C’c'est plus délicat à démouler qu'un grand moule, c'est assez rigide mais un tour au congélateur, ça aide.Je suis contente de cet achat et je recommande.

Great for making my soap in and then cutting in slices. Easy to clean and leaves a nice finish on the soap. Cheap too!
