The ad shows that the sizes are adjustable between certain range. I ordered L for my dog, she is 25 in around her chest, and weighs 50 lbs, the L is just a smidge too small. There is a clip underneath and around the neck, as well as velcro attachment. The velcro under her chest barely overlapped to close. But if it fits your dog, this will be a secure fitting jacket with the double attachments for both areas. It's a lightweight jacket, well stitched and has a handle to lift dogs out of the water. The pattern is as described in the ad, though the fin is pretty small, lol.

Great doggie life jacket. We got it before our trip to a lake, but ended up not using it in the lake itself because it turned out the pup could swim easily. However, the fit is good, it is relatively easy to put it on, and it gave us a sense of safety if we were to take him for a canoe ride.
