This is pretty much a useless device. Reading over the item description again, I realize how much the word "could" is used lol, as in: "The boot shaper could keep the boots standing upright" and "boots standing could also make the air circulating to the bottom", almost as if the seller knew that this is a great idea but in no way has been executed to meet any kind of quality results. LOL. It's a money-making oriented world. Anyway, the idea is there--It would be awesome to be able to pair your boots and even hang them somehow. But this apparatus just slides down and comes apart. The little notches that should (could?!) catch the leg as it's being extended just arent big enough so there's enough of a click that you think it may work, but no. You may be able to talk this thing into staying together long enough to get your boots standing but it will be temporary. And you can't even hang the device by itself as shown in the pictures without the legs entirely sliding out. So another great idea with horrible construction at a high price (over $4 each). Just a one person staff of quality control could (SHOULD) have caught this problem. Shame! I definitely DO NOT recommend this product :((
