⚡ I have purchased solid-state relay modules before for use in home automation projects where I used an ESP board to add automation to devices that didn’t have it. Rather than spend time diagnosing switching signals, you can just use an opto-isolated relay in parallel with the device controls to trick the device into activating. Although this device can handle A/C at a maximum of 2 A, this is really not strong enough for domestic applications, and I prefer to stick to low voltage.⚡ The relay design is ubiquitous and identical to others that I have bought and that have proven reliable. They are ridiculously easy to hook up to your project board of choice, and Arduino, PI4, and ESP boards all work very well to control them. The board has a hard-wired fuse, good isolation, and a low triggering voltage. It can be driven directly from an I/O pin if your relay is the 5-volt kind, and if it is the 12-volt kind, you are only a single transistor away from directly driving it from your project.⚡ The board soldering is acceptable, and all the components are in their place. I really could not fault the manufacturer. Easy to recommend—just remember to match the trigger voltage range to your application. The 5V version should work as low as 3.3 volts for nano-board applications. ✔️
