Per il mercato europeo, la società responsabile è francese. Non è presente, poiché non prevista, la marcatura CE.Arriva in una semplice busta in nylon richiudibile con etichetta.Ho preso questi adesivi per facilitarmi la vita quotidiana, visto che l’età avanza e la vista diminuisce.Da qualche tempo lotto quotidianamente con un forno a microonde con i comandi touch.In uno spazio 70x70 millimetrici di superficie metallica riflettente, sono indicate 18 aree quadrate che corrispondono ad altrettanti diversi comandi. La serigrafia delle scritte è di colore grigio chiaro; invisibili se in scarse condizioni di luce o se si è senza occhiali. Per ovviare al problema sono ricorso a questi utili adesivi di diversa forma e colore.Li ho attaccati nelle aree dei comandi principali (potenza, minuti, secondi, start …). Ora posso usare il forno a microonde ad occhi chiusi.Da poco mi è arrivata una nuova macchina per fare il caffè espresso, anch’essa con schermo touch. Credo che, a breve, adotterò questa soluzione anche per lei.Attualmente li sto sperimenta anche sul mio mazzo di chiavi, per trovare “al volo” la chiave del protonico, visto che la zona, di notte, è buia. Per ora il “marcatore” è ben fisso alla superficie metallica della chiave.Inoltre, in casa, uso due occhiali quasi simili; uno per leggere e uno per la televisione. Non vedendo senza (occhiali), mi confondevo sovente nel prenderli. Ora non succede più; ho attaccato sull’acchiale da vicino, all’interno dell’astina, in prossimità della cerniera (così non da fastidio) uno dei piccoli adesivi. Adesso non mi sbaglio più: senza pallino = TV, con pallino = da lettura.Finora ho usato la parte tattile di questo articolo; troverò sicuramente altre applicazioni per sfruttarne i colori.Per concludere, reputo buono il materiale e la colla con cui questi adesivi sono realizzati. Bella l’idea di immettere sul mercato questo ausilio per anziani, ipovedenti, ciechi o, semplicemente, persone distratte.Questo prodotto permette comunque di identificare spazi o cose anche a bimbi piccoli che non sanno ancora leggere, ma riconoscono forme e colori.

I am disappointed in the project because it is not what I expected. I am a resident artist at a school for the visually impaired where I and a few other of us make art that is touchable for the visually impaired. I am sighted and struggle to figure out new and creative ways to provide art for those who enjoy art primarily through touch. When I paint or make mixed media art for the sighted I sometimes include whole or bits of words within the composition. When I discovered that this set was advertised to include braille to make life easier for the visually impaired. I was is excited that I would find words written in braille that I could include in the art. But that is not the case. Despite how this is advertised there is no braille included in the package. Instead the package consists of rubberized bumps with adhesive on the back. There are no words and not instructions as to how to create words with this; just sticky bumps. I will probably embed a few of these bumps into my mixed media but I can not do what I expected to be able to do. I feel like this product was improperly advertised and was misleading. For that reason I am only giving this package 2 stars. These bumps can probably be used for plenty of things but now what I thought the purpose of these would be.

People who are blind often use these bump stops to mark things so they are easier to feel. I use these extensively. I have them on my keyboard so I can easily find keys such as the home role, the center of the numeric keypad, and the voiceover key. I have one on my office key at work so I can tell which one is the office key of my keys and which direction to inserted into the lock. For many like me, these dots are essential.The set is pretty good. Everyone I'm sure realizes that these are really feet for other products that they have simply packaged up as an assistive device, which is fine. I do think that the smaller size is still larger than I would prefer and wish that they would have some that are smaller than these. This does have a little bit smaller bump than some of the other sets I have purchased.However, I am going to give these a rather low rating because the practice of using the word braille in the description of this product, when it has nothing to do with braille whatsoever, is deceptive. Yes, you could probably use these dots to make braille on something, but nobody would ever do that. That's not what these are used for. For blind people these are extremely useful item in itself, but labeling them as a braille product is incorrect. It is common that companies have been doing this, but they should stop.
