An old standard

It is easy to fit and has repaired a drum that has had an issue for a while due to grandkids.

Jeff Hamilton uses these, and now so do I. Sounds excellent with brushes, sounds excellent with sticks.

Way too expensive!

What this excelled at is fit! First time in 40 years that my batter head has fit my vintage Gretsch Progressive Jazz snare drum! And I mean it fits properly. There is room to spare and the batter hoop also fits the outside of the flesh hoop of the head. So, I will never get any other head for my Gretsch again. Durability and longevity, what can you say about something you hit hundreds of times in short spaces of time? Other brands have more durable coatings. They just do. But they don’t fit. The one other brand that does fit feels thick and dampens the responsiveness of the drum. I’m finally getting the fit and tone I’ve looked for all these years. Thanks Remo.
