The hub is a really good addition if you are already using reolink camera’sThe hub will give you:Centralized management for all reolink camera’sLocal recording outside of the camera’s (record to the hub instead of the local camera)ONVIF channels also for those camera’s who not support external access like the battery powered camera’s like the Argus Track. Installation was really easy. It started to upgrade firmware. After that it was fine and I could add my reolink doorbell and Argus Track camera. When you do it this way the devices still use your own wifi instead of the hub’s wifi. If your wifi is stable enough this is the way to go, however when your home wifi is bad and the hub is closer to the camera’s then your router than you might want to try out the hub’s wifi. There is a button which will switch your devices over to the hubs wifi. I do not know if you can switch back so I would advice to only yse the hub’s wifi when your own wifi is not that good.I love the reolink devices and support. They are really quick and respond fast in solving issues.ArgusTrackReally nice camera.Installation was easy, You install the reolink app on your phone or PC and press the + sign to add a device and follow the instructions. I first installed this device as standalone(not connected to the hub). My advice is if you also have a hub first install it as standalone, test it out and after you are fully satisfied add it to the hub. This way it keeps on using your home wifi instead of using the hubs wifi. After that when You want it to use the hubs wifi you simply press the wifi synchronize wifi from home hub. My setup seems really stable on the wifi part. This is a battery powered camera so it will sleep whenever not accessed. I however hooked it up permanently to a charger.Image quality is really good, the tracking works nice and the panning sound is soft, you can hardly notice it. After adding it to the hub I noticed the responsetime were much faster so I would advice to buy the hub as well. This gives you remote recording(instead of the local sd in the camera). The camera on itself can not be accessed through HTTP, RTSP or ONVIF. This makes integration with homekit(through scripted) impossible. However after adding it to the hub you can use onvif channels from the hub and connect it to scripted and homekit.I really love this camera. There is however one thing that needs to be fixed.This camera switches between color and black/white depending on the light conditions.If this happens you hear a click that the camera switches filters(most camera’s do this)This camera has color night vision, I can show color when you only have one candle in the room and the rest is completely dark.However it seems to switch to black/white way to fast and there is no setting to change that.The Reolink doorbell has such a function where you can decide when the camera switches to the black/white setting and back. Reolink, you need to fix this because my camera keeps on switching back and forth while there is plenty of light in my livingroom in the evening.Please add a color-black/white threshold slider so when can make it switch to black/white much later. If the slider implementation is to much work(you have it on the Doorbell) then please change the current threshold so it switches much later.

Good product, easy to setup and it makes a great and cheap NVR like solution. Can also work as a chime to your doorbel.

Ich hab in der Vergangenheit schon ein paar Überwachungskameras ausprobiert – unter anderem von Wansview und Galayou – und konnte mir ganz gut ein Bild von der Thematik machen. Bei diesen beiden Reolink Geräten ging es darum, für Bekannte eine vernünftige Überwachungslösung für draußen zu finden. Und meine Wahl fiel auf die Reolink Argus PT Ultra Plus (mit Solarpanel) und den Reolink Home Hub. Da ich das auch gleich einrichten und aufbauen sollte, hier meine Erfahrungen mit dem System.Die Wahl fiel auf ein System mit Hub, weil die Anforderung war, dass die Aufnahmen nicht in der Kamera gespeichert werden sollen, sondern sicher im Haus. Genau das macht der Home Hub. Die Daten landen auf einer SD-Karte im Hub, der gut geschützt im Haus (neben dem Router) steht. Der Hub kann NUR über ein beiliegendes Netzwerk-Kabel an den Router angeschlossen werden. Also ein WLAN-Verbindung zwischen Hub und Internetrouter ist nicht möglich. Das hat möglicherweise damit zu tun, dass der Hub sein eigenes WLAN für die Kameras bereitstellt.Man kann die Videos auf dem Hub übrigens optional verschlüsseln. Wenn also jemand den Hub klaut, kann er die Aufnahmen nicht ansehen – die Dateien sind dann ohne Schlüssel einfach unbrauchbar.Sowohl die Kamera als auch der Hub haben eine eingebaute Sirene, die im Alarmfall losgeht (einstellbar, on / off). Zusätzlich kann das System optional Push-Nachrichten an mehrere Smartphones schicken und der Hub kann auch E-Mails bei Alarm raussenden. Die Kamera hat außerdem Zwei-Wege-Audio, d. h. man kann übers Handy wie mit einer Gegensprechanlage mit jemandem vor der Kamera reden.Was die App angeht: Sie ist definitiv besser als das, was ich von den günstigeren Kamera-Modellen kenne. Sie läuft stabil, reagiert schnell, und bisher gab es keine Abstürze oder langen Ladezeiten. Egal ob Livestream, gespeicherte Videos oder Fotos ansehen – alles läuft ruckelfrei und flott. Und was richtig angenehm ist: Die Übersetzung ins Deutsche ist mal Fehler- und Missverständnisfrei. Alles ist verständlich beschriftet, man weiß sofort, was was ist. Das war bei den Apps meiner günstigen Geräten nicht immer so.Schon beim Auspacken merkt man, dass die Verarbeitungsqualität hier auf einem ganz anderen Level ist. Die Kamera ist ordentlich verarbeitet, macht einen langlebigen Eindruck und ist natürlich wetterfest, wie man es draußen halt braucht.Auch das Anbringen der Kamera und Solarpanel war einfach (an einem Baum). Das Kabel ist lang genug für eine flexible Positionierung. Besonders positiv: Es liegt echt jede Menge Befestigungsmaterial bei – von Halterungen, Schrauben und Dübeln für die Wand bis hin zu Gurten, mit denen man die Sachen auch an nen Mast oder Baum binden kann. Das hatte ich bei meinen anderen Kameras nicht, das ist wirklich durchdacht.Die Bildqualität bei Tag ist richtig gut. Scharf, detailreich, natürliche Farben. Nachtssorgen Infrarot-LEDs für s/w Nachtsicht und/oder zusätzliche helle, weiße LEDs für eien einwadnfreie Farbnachtsicht. Die Kamera lässt sich per App schwenken und neigen.Die App kann man auf mehreren Handys nutzen. Also jedes Familienmitglied kann auf Kamera und Hub zugreifen. Das ganze System ist also multi-user-fähig und nicht auf einen Nutzer beschränkt. Praktisch.Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt: Bei der App liegt keine Anleitung bei. Wenn man noch nie so ein System eingerichtet hat muss man erstmal bisschen rumprobieren oder online recherchieren. Wenn man aber einmal drin ist, läuft alles problemlos. Die Verbindung zwischen Kamera und Hub war nach dem Einrichten stabil – auch wenn ich beim ersten Versuch nochmal neu starten musste.Weiterhin finde ich es befremdlich, dass man keine Möglichkeit hat, Aufnahmen von der SD Karte zu löschen. Wenn die Karte voll ist, werden zwar die ältesten Aufnhamen überschrieben (rotierende Loop-Aufzeichnung), aber wenn man mal eine Aufnahme explizit löschen möchte, geht das nicht. In dem Fall kann man nur die gesamte SD Karte neu formatieren. Was das für ein "feature" sein soll entzieht sich leider meiner Kenntnis.Fazit: Das Gesamtpaket aus Kamera und Hub wirkt gut durchdacht und ist skalierbar. Im Vergleich zu den günstigeren Modellen, die ich im Einsatz habe, ist das hier deutlich hochwertiger – sowohl technisch als auch bei der Verarbeitung und in punkto Sicherheit (der Videoaufnahmen). Die Geräte kosten zwar mehr – aber aus meiner Sicht ist das gerechtfertigt.

Very impressed so far, setup was easy. I have a wired NVR from Reolink as well. I'm now migrating all my cameras to Reolink. The main bonus is the Home Assistant functionality - so many extra functions are available for their cameras, both wired and wireless. I did have an issue with a wireless camera so went on the web chat for help. This was amazing, chatted to a real person who diagnosed the issue and had it back up and running within minutes (Jasmin thank you - and this was on a Sunday!) .Overall very happy with Reolink and their products, so far. Home Assistant integration was definately a game changer for me.
