These Walkie talkies come as a pack of 2 and are nice looking and a good size. they require 3 x aa batteries or you can use the included lithium rechargeable batteries.There are several function buttons on the handsets including volume, menu and chat buttons. The sound on these has been pretty good, and I am impressed for the price of them. They also work even when there is a large distance between them. Great fun for kids and adults alike and I would buy this brand again.

These days, with unlimited calls on phone contracts being the norm, walkies talkies are a lot less relevant. You could pay £75 for these, or you could buy 2 sets of £10 bluetooth earphones and get the same experience from your phone.So why would you buy these over using your phone? Honestly, after having played around with these for a while, there's very few scenarios in which these would be better. The build quality on these are nothing special. They're not rugged, and they're not waterproof. At least phones these days are waterproof and can survive any outdoor weather... Therefore these aren't going to better for any sort of heavy weather usage.The only scenario I can think of where these will come in handy, is when you're in a dead signal zone. If one of you doesn't have phone signal, then you obviously cannot communicate. This could be outside in the hills, or even underground where there's no phone signal or wifi! In that scenario, having radio walkie talkies like this comes massively handy.These are really easy to setup and use, and you get a separate charging cable for each walkie talkie and headset, meaning everything can be charged at the same time, rather than having to take turns. The range on these is fantastic, although I'll be honest I haven't tested the limit because I've not needed to! Sound quality is great, and the VOX mode makes for easy talking via the bluetooth headsets as you don't need to press a button.Overall, I think if you actually need walkie talkies and aren't going to be in a heavy weather environment, then these are a great choice and I'd recommend them!
