I bought this for my RT3S as an enhancement over the stock antenna.The first one I received seemed to be performing about the same as stock, in some cases worse on 70cms so I checked it out on my VNA and noticed the SWR was way out of band.So, the good news! I contacted Retevis support and bad an almost instant reply from a staff member called Karen who asked me for the details. Upon sending these they immediately promised to send me out a replacement antenna, kept me up to date with tracking details and the like, and I received the replacement as quickly as I did my initial order.As you can see, this one is pretty much bob on for a handheld antenna, and on receive at least is performing much better.So, a well built antenna, it certainly seems rugged enough and looks like it can take a bit of a battering, good performance and most importantly of all, excellent service from Retevis.

Ich habe diese Antenne zu einem Retevis RA 89 Funkgerät dazu gekauft. Als Ersatz für die original Antenne vom Funkgerät die nicht so gut ist. Die Antenne passt wunderbar und man kann die komplette Leistung und auch den kompletten Empfang damit abrufen. Die Antenne ist qualitativ sehr gut verarbeitet und es gibt keinen Makel ich würde sie jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Sin duda mejora el rendimiento de la antena que viene de serie en mi equipo y a pesar de la longitud no es muy incómoda, la recomiendo.

Nachdem ich die Antenne gemessen hatte war ich zuerst enttäuscht, hatte ich auf 2m doch einen eher schlechten SWR von 2,5 bis hin zu 3,5.Im 70cm Band war das SWR, mit dem benutzten Gegengewicht, von Anfang an sehr gut!Ich habe die Antenne nun erneut gemessen, habe dazu ein anderes Gegengewicht genommen...und siehe da, das SWR ist gut bis sehr gut (1:1,3).Da die Handfunke im Betrieb das Gegengewicht bildet, ist das Messen einer Mobilantenne immer etwas tricky, sollte aber mit einem Gegengewicht zumindest einen Wert abbilden, der eine grobe Richtung aufzeigt.Das spiegelt das Messergebnis nun auch wider. Für kleines Geld also eine ordentliche Antenne für 2m/70cm
