Typing this on a PC that is connected through a 2.5G switch that is being powered by the 2.5mm 12v POE splitter.I just ran iperf3 and got the exact same results as the same switch running without the POE splitter.Seems legit! Also, bonus points to the seller for responding pretty quickly when I asked a question (amazon has the spec as 1G).

I have bought a few of these to use with Raspberry Pi 4B and they work great!A PoE switch is obviously required. I was happy that there are no issues with power/undervoltage warnings etc as I have experienced these with non-official power adapters in the past. These are literally plug-n-play and “just work” when paired with an Ethernet cable and PoE switch.The build quality is great and I have been using them for about a year without any issues. They cost me around £14 a piece (although I would value them around £10) but overall I would say they are good value for the money.I rate this product 5/5 * as it does exactly what I expect with no surprises, and frees up the plug socket for something else. Fantastic!

Ich nutze den Splitter ab einen Raspberry Pi 5 (Raspi 5) mit 8 GB RAM in einem Gehäuse (Argon One v3 M.2), in dem eine SSD (Kingston NV2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 Interne SSD 1TB M.2 2280) verbaut ist. Das Gerät hängt an einem PoE-Switch (Netgear GS316EP) und wir nun von diesem mit Strom versorgt.Das ganze läuft zuverlässig ohne Warnungen und auch bei Belastung des Raspis habe ich keinerlei Probleme provozieren können.Durch den Einsatz der Splitter (ich nutze die mit Micro-USB Stecker auch noch mit anderen Geräten, darunter RPi 2B, RPi 3B, RPi Zero 2) später ich Netzteile mit entsprechenden Verlusten, habe - abgesehen von den Zeros - ein Kabel weniger, kann die Geräte über den Switch remote Powercyclen und sobald der Swich mit USV gesichert ist, werden es auch die Geräte sein. Darüber hinaus kann ich problemlos alle Gehäuse nutzen, da rein PoE-Hat entfällt, der hier einschränkend wäre. Insofern ist es eine sehr runde Lösung für mich.Schön wäre es, wenn man die LEDs an der Netzwerkbuchse der Splitter abschalten könnte.
