De SD naar CF adapter is een type I geheugenkaartadapter voor SDHC, SDXC, SD 3.0. De toegangssnelheid is sneller dan bij vrijwel alle soortgelijke producten. De SD-naar-CF adapter ondersteunt de conversie van SDHC, SDXC en zelfs de volgende generatie SD 3.0-kaarten met exFAT bestandssysteem. Uitgerust met een high-speed interface, vertraagt deze adapter de toegangssnelheid van het gebruikte medium niet.

De SD-naar-CF-adapter is compatibel met vele digitale apparaten met CF Type I aansluiting, waaronder geselecteerde UDMA6 digitale camera's en DSLR's, PDA's, digitale fotolijst, kaartlezer, notebooks en meer. Fonctionne avec un Nikon D700, mais c'est beaucoup plus lent qu'avec une carte CF normale... Il faut le savoir avec d'acheter.

Bought this to use with my SONY A700. Does exactly what is expected. Fitted a 128GB sdhc card . Initially got a card error message, tried to format card but wouldn't let me. Changed the SDHC card and tried again. This time message asked if I wanted to format card, which I did and then tried to take a photo, result a superb photo. Make sure you use a card which hasn't been formatted for a different camera to the one you are using! This works very well, cards are easy to change, and this will only fit one way, but be aware that whatever card you use is actually fitted at a right angle to the adapter contacts, so you do have to remove the adapter from the camera to change the card. All in all a really useful bit of kit which saves money in the long run as SDHC cards are a lot cheaper to buy than CF cards.
