I think these look even better than the tapered candles.They are real wax or seem like real wax, and the light is a soft, warm, flickering whiteI will definitely buy these again. They are great quality and easy to use and assemble. The batteries are good!I purchased the Advent candles from the same company, and some other tapered candles as well because I found that the quality and warm white colour of a light is exactly what I’m looking for

Sure didn't expect to write a review for candles. I mean, candles. One candle is another candle. Not these babies! They are excellent!! Look so real. Come with batteries. Ridiculously simple, just pop in 2 batteries per candle, all batteries included--and your home is not going to risk a live flame causing fire. And, the remote thing, which was thinking, meh, who needs it, very cool bc, for example, can set candles to four hours and go to bed, with candles turning off after you turn out. Waaay better product than expected.

Wanted candles for a table decoration and these are perfect, the right size and price. they came with Batteries and a remote control, you can choose an amount of hours for them to be on and set to flicker like real candles. They are waxy to touch and I love the functionality of them would recommend and buy again

I like that the wax goes all the way down to the bottom of the candle. The other ones you can see where the wax starts, and the plastic base begins in my particular candleholders, making them look fake. These ones look very, very REALISTIC because the wax goes all the way down to the bottom!! Thank you!! also like that you don’t have to take the candles out of the candle holder to turn them off/on. I bought some at pottery barn, seriously, expensive, and you actually had to take them out to turn them off/on every time and it’s hard to adjust tapers you have to stand back make sure you have them put in straight again. And the price was absolutely ridiculous on those other ones. The other ones didn’t even have a remote these ones DO! These were good value for the money. We have the other type of pillar candles, and they flicker with sort of a moving slender flat wick that looks very realistic. A different type of wick seems to be used in all these type of tapirs (on all of them, from what I could find.) I suspect there’s not enough room for the mechanics of the other type of wick in skinny tapir candles. This is a very well thought out candle, we are leaving them on all the time because it looks so beautiful! This is an unusual set up, the way you change the batteries is out through the top, super easy to load the batteries. The directions were very, very clear and simple to follow, I would very much recommend these!
