These arrived from England much faster than the few weeks projection (more like 1 week!). This was a surprise for an overseas gift delivered during COVID, and she is happy with the fit and style.

I would call this item a shoe, not a boot. It sits just under my ankle. Looks better when worn with long trousers that cover the ankles, or when wearing a skirt. Great zip design. I have quite small ankles but found this item to be a little tight when fully zipped. I am in the process of stretching it by wearing indoors with socks and using manual manipulation.If you have slender feet and ankles you should have no problems. But, if you have a high instep or wider feet you may benefit from a half to a full size up. Or stretching the item in an appropriate way.Overall I love the soft leather; makes it feel like a second skin. So, very comfortable. But it is still durable enough. The thermal lining adds warmth and prevents your feet from sliding around.

These ankle boots made of good leather are smart and comfortable. Another winner from Reiker.

I’m giving the 5 stars to Arnouts.Having brought a few pairs of these boots in the past I feel that reiker has slipped on quality. I’m keeping them but they are definitely not of the same quality as previous ones. The leather in general and specially around the rim of the ankle is not the same as before.
