I bought this because I wanted an extruder for pasta since I make my own by hand and have a manual roller as well. I was worried by the reviews of other similiar products based on what they said about the suction usually used for these devices. Here are my pros and cons.Pros* inexpensive* easy to use and assemble (the blade inside is extremely sharp)* the suction base is EXTREMELY strong, I was able to lift my dining room table with it and it's a heavy wood one* meant to be used for either handmade sausages or extruding pasta doughCons* it looks like a child's toy made for playdough* it doesn't handle pasta dough very well. After attempting to make spaghetti and working the crank for 15 min, I had about an inch of spaghetti coming out. I didn't continue after that.* the other extruder plates are just as slow, it seems to be made for a dough that is not kneaded as much as pasta dough should be.* most of it is cheap plastic that feels like it's going to break as you're cranking it, the handle doesn't attach securely so comes out easily while turning* when cranking, the base will move with the force required to pump out the dough so it came off the edge of my table a few times* you have to push in the dough repeatedly as it doesn't naturally pull it in as its crankingI used this twice since I bought it and both times I've had the same issues. It takes too much time and strength to turn out regular pasta dough through this flimsy thing. The suction is strong but not strong enough to hold it in place to crank out the dough (i'm a big guy, 6'5" 230+lbs and i was sweating turning the thing to get the dough out to make spaghetti.) I haven't used it for making sausages yet and I think it may work better there but we'll see.

Ho comprato questo tritacarne per fare i passatelli che sono venuti benissimo. Però come da altre recensioni, l arnese che s incastra dentro perde colore
