Works exactly as intended if you know what I'm talking about but the shelf's good has held up well in our off-road scoring trailer for motorcycle events

This is a two-pack of rack shelves for my Riveco 4U desktop rack. I installed one shelf to hold a cable modem and an 8 port managed switch (not wide enough to rack mount). The first shelf I tried to install was a fail because the bolt holes on one side of the shelf were not drilled large enough to accommodate the provided bolts. To use that shelf in the future I will have to drill out the holes (annoying). Fortunately, the second shelf was properly drilled and I was able to install it easily. Entire rack and shelf is very sturdy. Happy with the result, but disappointed with quality control issues.

holds my 4 devices pretty well

My rack system uses 10/32 screws. Other rack accessories I have purchased come with both types of screws.Otherwise it's a shelf and it works for its designed purpose. It's a quality item.

When I first installed these, I made the mistake of overloading them. I put a tower server on one shelf and watched it literally bend from the weight. You should use these for light gear - stuff under 5lbs. That being said, they are great for holding small routers, switches, or small NAS devices.I have a small router sitting on one shelf and a switch sitting on the other. These shelves are great for such light weight gear. You can install one shelf facing the rear of your rack and the other facing the front.
