The connectors work ok once you figure out how to crimp them. The included instructions were for the CAT5A/6 connectors where all wires lay flat next to each other. The CAT7 wires are thicker and are therefore staggered to still fit in the space. The instructions do not show this. To do this, some small plastic inserts are provided. First install the connector sleeve on the cable if you plan to use them. Then strip your cable and shielding quite long (3-4cm), untwist the pairs and insert each wire in the plastic insert in its appropriate position. All solid colored wires in one plane, the striped wires in between. Then slide the insert to about 3mm from the end of the wires, straighten the wires and then slide the whole thing into the RJ45 connector, in the appropriate orientation. Then finally crimp the connector. Use pliers to close the shielding tabs over the cable shielding and slide the sleeve over the connector.
