For reference - 2019 Road Glide Special. Road Glide is a much easier install that a Street Glide, so keep that in mind. An SG is a nightmare changing the fairing speakers.I decided to upgrade from a Wild Boar system that just didn't give me the volume and clarity I wanted. First step, find a shop to flash your stereo, so that it is ready. Gather everything you need, especially a 3/4 step bit and a good PVC jigsaw bit. Take your time and make sure you do it right. I am a horrible mechanic, and this install took me about 4 hours, taking my time. Do it right and it will look good. Speakers are completely waterproof, after a wash, I had to open my lids to drain the water from the speakers, but the inside was dry. Just go nice and easy. Watch the Youtube video 3-4 times before you start.This system is amazing. Test ride, at 70MPH, I could only put the volume at 75% or it just overpowered my ears! It is a pricey system, but it looks awesome, and sounds awesome. If you're cash short, go with the amp/front speaker set. If you can afford it, get this one. I've had multiple systems on my bikes over the years, and this RF set is the first one I truly thought was worth the money and effort to install it.

I bought the hog tunes system first, with the 400 watt amp and still wasnt satisfied because i couldnt really hear it above 70. So i bought this system and Im so impressed with how loud and clear this Rockford Fosgate system is. I can hear it clearly at 80+Its a fairly easy install and everything is plug and play.. no splicing wires. Well worth the money!

Went from just a stock stereo system to this. Install was fairly simple. The scariest thing I've ever done to my bike was having to cut that hole in the saddlebag lid. Even that went well with the provided stencil. Everything looks great and sounds awesome. It's almost like having surround sound with the speakers behind me now and I can still hear at 70-80+mph speeds.

The installation instructions and procedure is easy to follow and installs perfectly. The front speakers sound great. I expected to get more bass from the rear 6x9s. I think it would be better with an upgrade on them. I blew up the first set of 6x9s in the first week. It was very easy working with Rockford Fosgate support to get replacements. I adjusted the cross-over a bit and the second set are holding up great. I guess I need to get one of their subwoofers if I want bass.
