This was bought for a 29er Reba RL Dual Air (2012) which was fitted with a remote poploc and had served well for the past 10 years. Unfortunately, the poploc suffered irrepairable damage after a recent fall.Decided to change to the crown mounted manual lockout, so, after contacting the default seller Hike Bike & Ride to check compataibilty (they failed to reply to my query), I then contacted Y Frame Discounts Ltd who were selling this for a few pence dearer. They did reply (thank you Y Frame), and confirmed it was the correct item: not surprisingly, I paid the little extra and purchased from them instead of Hike Bike & Ride.It does seem a little expensive for such a small thing, but after disconnecting the damper spring and fitting this manual lockout, it really does fit correctly and works as intended. Whilst not as convenient as the remote poploc, I guess it's just a matter of time before I get used to using a crown mounted lockout.I am pleased with conversion.
