This a great little addition I didn’t know I needed. It creates enough tension so that any attachments (hook, paddle or whisk) are extended fully with little play. It cleans the bottom of the bowl of my 6qt mixer well without heavy scraping. It’s simple and easy to install.

At first I thought is this a replacement? Mine didn’t come with one though. Was confused. Read reviews and someone said crazy how kitchenaid cannot include $6 part in the crazy expensive purchase. I debated on whether or not to get it but I did figure it’s just $6. Well let me tell you ITS A MUST!!! It improves the use of this machine!!!!

Petit ressort qui fait toute la différence :) J'étais un peu sceptique au début, mais après l'avoir installé sur mon Kitchenaid, il est vrai qu'il vibre moins et donc fait un peu moins de bruit. Bon, certes, cela ne va pas tout changer, mais cela apporte une petite différence appréciable, surtout si la pièce originale est usée ou vieillissante et qu'on la remplace par une neuve.Je recommande d'autant plus qu'il y a deux pièces fournies.
