It turned out to be much better than I anticipated. The carabiner isn't the best, though, so I keep it in my bag. Also, be careful if you ever have to remove it for whatever reason. The double-sided sticker that comes with it is VERY resilient. The lid on my case got a bit loose after I tried to remove this case when I had to send my airpods for repairs. There isn't a replacement sticker either, so I had to get a pack to reattach the top to my airpods case.
