These are GREAT for use as "dumbbell stands"!!! That is why I purchased them!! Keeps your dumbbells from rolling around and in one spot on hard flooring (wood, tile, stone, etc.)! Got them sitting on the floor, right next to my dumbbell utility bench! I think the max weight they can hold without collapsing is 30 lbs.P.S. I'm sure they would also work great for what they are actually intended - cutting angles for wood frames ;)

Really nice to use value for money neat job great for DIY.

Be very careful to check the dimensions of this item if you are considering purchasing it, because it will be inadequate for almost all typical cases where you would normally use a mitre box. The stated dimensions are 6 x 11.5 x 23 cm, but even that is misleading, because the actual dimensions are 5.5 x 10 x 23 cm. That translates into only 2 3/16" x 3 15/16" x 9 1/16", and even those are flattering because they're just the exterior measurements. The interior measurements are only 1 5/8" x 2 3/4" x 9 1/16" (4 x 7 x 23 cm). That means that this miniature mitre box can't even accommodate a standard 2" x 4" piece of wood. The item is literally the size of a child's toy version of a mitre box, so it might perhaps have some use if one is constructing a dollhouse, but otherwise won't be very helpful unless you're working with very small pieces of wood.
