I've always been a bit sceptical about this kind of accessory. Unless one is on a building site, up a ladder all day they seemed a bit over the top. But then I decided to put up new lighting in my workshop at home. After spending more time coming back down the ladder to retrieve the thing I needed from the bench, than actually doing the job, I had a re think. Some extensive browsing in the 'tool belt' category led me to this pouch. I liked the traditional look of it & the riveted split hide construction. It's just a pouch so you need a belt to use it with - Rolson do a great leather one, which I bought separately. Described as a nail pouch its usefulness doesn't end there as it will easily hold pliers, screwdrivers, tape measure etc in the larger pocket and screws & fixings in the smaller one. Load it up & off you go. It appears to be robust, with strong stitching, riveted stress points & thick leather. How it would hold up day in, day out in the trade I'm not sure, but certainly for home & DIY and probably more I imagine it will be a long time before it needs replacing. I'm definitely a convert.
