War zunächst ein bisschen skeptisch, weil ich immer malwieder runde Formen aus verschiedenstem Material getestet hatte und alles nicht so wirklich perfekt war aber diese Formen sind echt gut, durch die Box auch eine super Möglichkeit zur Aufbewahrung und man kann sich direkt einen Vorrat vorbereiten - perfekten für diejenigen die gerne Eis in ihrem Getränk haben oder im Sommer immer kalte Getränke wollen.

Had these trays for a little while now and the novelty of ice “spheres” hasn’t worn off yet so I definitely recommend buying one.The tray is a nice aquamarine colour and decent in quality — not the sturdiest plastic but still something that should last for quite a while. The cubes it makes are a decent size too, so I’d say it’s good value for money.It was pretty easy to use — you just fill up the tray maybe 2/3 of the way, put the covering tray on top and put it in the freezer.Note: I found that filling the tray to the top meant a lot of water came out the holes on top which left a sheet of ice on the tray itself when you’re pulling it out the freezer. Not a big deal but might mean some extra cleanup as that ice falls off when you’re trying to get the cubes out.

Trays are easy to fill. You are likely to get ‘squirt’ over-fill, but this is contained and so doesn’t spill into your freezer.If you fill it properly and don’t wave it around too much off a level when transferring to the freezer then you are going to get perfect ice balls with little effort.It’s easy to eject ice balls once frozen. A little gentle twist prior to opening the lid. Then perhaps a second is required. No dramas. Out they all come.The trays stack nicely. Saving space and allowing you to make loads of ice balls in one hit.The storage box is pretty standard Tupperware. Average quality. Does the job. You can get all three trays in it, or use it to store a bunch of ice balls. Lid fits well and has a seal.The tongs are a waste of time/space. I am sure they will do the job, but they are thin material and have (in my case) quite shape edges. I personally don’t need and won’t be using them.The ice balls themselves are a decent size (around 2.5cm diameter). Don’t expect ‘huge’. They are maybe a little smaller in volume than the ice my fridge automatically makes. Aesthetically they are very pleasing. But the main thing I have noticed is that they defrost a little slower than cubed ice. Not done this under scientific conditions, but definitely ‘feels’ a slower melt.Would buy again and recommend.

The ice cube trays are easy to use & make great looking ice. Slight twist pops the ice easily off from the mould.Tweezers are thin material and sharp, but makes it really easy to grab the slippery ice!Storage box is standard quality and would be good to use, but unfortunately doesn’t fit in my freezer.
