I'm a bit disappointed with this one, as reflected in the rating would suggestAccording to the instructions, you may not mix for more than a minute, and must then allow at least two minutes for the machine to cool down before using it furtherWe have never had a mixer like this before, so we don't know if this is normal, for the duty cycle to be half the recovery cycle, but it seems a bit odd, along with a slightly ominous warning to not put the machine away immediately after using, as it may be "hot"YikesI'm not sure how the plastic mixing cup will hold up against the mixer, though the mixing discs are perfectly round and flat, as in no waves, serrations or propeller shape to aid mixing, also not sure if this is normalI think for light duty mixing, it will be fine, but we will be looking elsewhere for a machine capable of making shakes and frappes
