So I’ve had two C sections within a year n a half, and then developed thyroid problems. My insurance denied me weight loss meds so you can imagine the struggle. I habe a very small frame but have gained 50 pounds and it’s all mostly in my mid section. Since then, I’ve gone from a size small to x-large. It’s hard to find something that’s big enough around the waist, but smaller in the thighs. I’ve also found that wearing bigger pants and smaller shirts help hide the stomach area tremendously. Basically, finding clothes, especially pants and shorts have been my biggest issue, and these pass my test!!! The material is perfect, it’s stretchy yet thick enough to hide imperfections (like rolls) and it’s not extremely clingy to the skin, but it also gives a slender appearance. These fit me way better than any Victoria secret clothes I’ve bought and I have a lot!!! My only critique is I would make these in more colors!!! I plan to buy a lot more of these shorts, but I wish you would make an exact replica of “iced coffee” color in the Victoria secret line. Basically it’s a mauve brown that is more brown than purple. Or cool toned taupe. I would also like pastel colors like lilac and baby cool toned Barbie pink.Trust me, I’ve invested in clothes, have thrifted tons of name brand stuff, and nothing has ever fit me so perfectly as these shorts!!! And since it was only a year ago I was 5’10 weighing 120pounds, i can say, if your skinny you can afford to go a size down if you want it to be skin tight. If your like the present version of me, and have a belly to hide, you can afford to get your regular shirt size and don’t have to size up.Hope this review helps. I got the darker mauve brown, and I really like this color, but it’s about two shades darker your typical iced coffee color or brown mauve I’ve seen in UGG or other brands. But it’s a beautiful brown these shorts! Thank you so much! My new favorite brand!!! Just plz get more colors in stock!
