Rothenberger 88801 Pipeslice Tube Cutter 15mm

I'm only a DIYer but I do enjoy a bit of plumbing. I used to have a cheaper one of these which worked for a little while and then stopped. So I upgraded to this bad-boy. I like things that do what they're supposed to do well. They don't try and do other things, just do one thing and do it well. Mark where you want to cut the pipe, slide this cutter over, grip and twist a few times and you get a perfect and clean slice. You basically couldn't get any better.You have to rotate maybe 3 or 4 full turns and watch for the arrow on the side which tells you the direction of rotation; slipped it on a couple of times the wrong way around and thought "oh here we go another dud...doh!"Replaced a water pipe to an old shower via the loft, pretty tight laying across joists and the pipe was hard to access but still managed to wrap it around the pipe, turn a few times and voila it popped off.It's a pretty impressive bit of kit.
