rOtring 1904257 Rapid Pro Potlood 0,7 mm, Mat Zwart

Ik schrijf veel en doe dat het liefst met potlood. Ik gaf nooit veel geld aan potloden maar nu wilde ik mezelf eens trakteren op een ècht mooi en degelijk potlood voor de rest van m'n leven.Wat een prachtig potlood is dit, ik kan er van genieten door er alleen maar naar te kijken, zo stijlvol en perfect afgewerkt! Hij ligt geweldig in de hand en het gewicht verraadt de degelijkheid.Dan dat ingebouwde schokbrekertje, wat een luxe!Ik ben helemaal blij met het mooiste potlood.Een nadeel:Ik baal dat ik het niet 10 jaar eerder kocht... een aanrader dit product, absoluut.

I’m an engineer by trade, but am currently taking business courses. I find myself using a pencil a lot especially when making calculations. I own a couple of Mont Blanc pens, and wanted something a step above a normal mechanical pencil to use on a daily basis. I liked the price point of the Rapid Pro and after using it for a couple of days I have to say that I’m very happy with it. I considered the Rotring 600 (but wanted a retractable tip which the 600 doesn’t have) or the Rotring 800 (which has a retractable tip, but is more expensive and has some negative reviews about its retract mechanism). Overall the Rotring Rapid Pro is probably the best mechanical pencil I’ve ever used. Love the fine knurling and the feel of it.A few small cons 1. Red ring is plastic, I wish the red section was metal 2. I would have preferred if the cushioning behind the lead protection mechanism was a bit stiffer. 3. No lead type indication (not a problem for me, Since I basically always use standard HB lead, but it could be a problem for others).Some reviews said that the Rapid Pro was too heavy, I think it’s weight is perfect. I also read that the eraser cap could be loose, mine is secure.Awesome mechanical pencil and exactly what I hoped it would be.

Great pencil. Use it for school work and writing. However, the eraser is not very reliable. Very smooth and sturdy.
