ottimo acquisto e ottimo materiale non si e' ancora arrugginito dopo questo inverno e direi che mantiene ancora la sua forma ,lo sportello si apre con facilita'.

This is a well made "American" (made by a German company) style post box that so far has withstood the weather here in Scotland and keeps the mail dry. Only downside is the Scottish posties are so unused to it that the sometimes fold my parcels (YES! PARCELS!!!) in half to fit them inside. I recommend buying a weatherproof plastic parcel box for underneath to avoid this - otherwise you're gonna have a bad time... Also the lid doesn't close very well, you have to bend the closing bit a little to make it tight, which takes 2 seconds, then it closees tightly, which is nothing. Can't mark them down for that. Metal bends very easily so I was happy to do that myself.The reason we bought this box and were happy to pay a bit more was we didn't want "US POST" printed on the side because we live in Scotland. The screws it comes with are NOT galvanised, make sure you get some that are from B&Q!Side note: do not buy the pole made by the same company, it has terrible reviews. We bought the Sterling MB23BK US Steel Stand Mailbox - black, Large, but had to then drill our own holes into the box with a metal drill to make it fit. Takes a bit of finesse to make it fit, but if you're handy with a drill (or have a friend who can do it) then it should be no problem.
