I’ve been using these tape measures for a few years now and in my opinion, they cannot be beaten. Very strong and very easy to read. They out class all the other well known brands hands down!

I’ve been ordering this tape measure for over the course of 2 years and using consistently for 5 day a week as I’m a carpenter, that tape lasts about 3 months then it goes rusty and starts to fade, but what would you expect, nothing lasts forever, especially only for £12, personally it’s a good buy from my prospective.

This is the second one of these I have bought after losing my first one. My first one spent most of the time in the bottom of my toolbag getting other tools dropped on top of it and it still worked no problem. I like the fact that the imperial scale is marked in fractions making it easier to measure refrigeration pipework, which is still measured in imperial rather than metric.

My original 8m Roughneck tape has been my favourite tape for years (don't tell the other tapes). The rounded shape sits well in the palm and it has given faultless service for years. So what the heck I decided to buy another working on the principal that you can never have enough of good thing, a spare is always handy. When I looked on Amazon I was amazed at the negative reviews, clearly they have / have had some QC issues but my experience is faultless. So here's to my second Roughneck despite all the naysayers...
