It's a big sledgehammer that really does look as though it is built to last. I have o ly used it once so far and it smashed up a cupboard with ease. At this weight it is fine but any heavier it might just be too awkward to handle.A good and solid piece of kit which I am happy with.

This is a fantastic tool which has a great feel and build quality to it. Obviously there are much cheaper sledgehammers available, but I always believe in the fact that in most cases you get what you pay for. The sledgehammer while in use has a moulded head to the shaft which is essential for demanding situations to prevent tool breakage.Furthermore, with the sledgehammer being of fibreglass material, the impact/force is drastically reduced so that you do not feel it through your arms (which would ache quite quickly with longer durations of use).I chose the 10lb hammer as I believed it would be the right weight, I have to admit it does feel heavy at first however this is the right one to get. Anything else will be either too light or too heavy defeating the main purpose of a sledgehammer. In my case this sledgehammer was used to break down a wall as well as some old concrete fence posts. The sledgehammer does the job well.Despite this tool being the first purchase of mine for this brand, it does not disappoint. With that being said, I would have no hesitation in recommending this tool which is perfect for breaking concrete/walls.

This is a fantastic piece of kit. I had recently purchased a Roughneck pick axe, and so I knew this was a quality brand. There are cheaper sledge hammers on Amazon, but I believe you get what you pay for. This is a well constructed piece of kit. I particularly like the fact that the head is moulded on to the shaft itself. Thereby, unlike "traditional" wood sledge hammers, the head does not come flying off! Also, as the sgaft is fibreglass, you do not "feel" the shock as you come down on to the surface. In terms of weight, I personally think the 10lb hammer is ideal. Albeit I have not seen or tried a 7lb hammer, I suspect this would be too light. Conversely I think a 14lb hammer would be too heavy. I have only used it so far to break up a small stone wall - but it was great. Overall, I would highly recommend this product. Delivery was made safely within 2 days by UPS.

Quality piece of kit. Does the job intended no issues. Not too heavy but dismantles walls etc no problem. Excellent buy.
