I’m gonna give this product 5 stars on appearance alone even though I haven’t used it yet, because I hope it will help people trying to choose and I was really pleased with what arrived.When I was looking for one to buy it was hard to tell, on Amazon, from pictures, how well built they are, (and we all know what some of the stuff can be like, right?)This thing is an absolute beast. It looks and feels really solid. I looked to see where it was made but couldn’t find a country of manufacture.I have absolutely no doubt that I’ll never need to buy another one.If this thing ‘ever’ breaks (possibly on my neighbours head) it will be my fault and not the product,For the record, I paid full price for it because I needed it and this is my own, honest review, not some paid for hype.

I find this spade more useful than normal spade for basically any activity required. It being double the length for the blade makes trench digging for ducts and cables significantly easier. Also very useful in gardening for flowers as they often need to sit lower than a normal spade can dig without digging a wide hole. The spade is sturdy enough to dig rough terrains with rocks and chunks of bricks even though a long crowbar is always recommended to move/destabilise any bigger solid pieces in the ground and after that this spade picks them up no problem.

Oh, the back-breaking work of digging post holes! Well-made shovel. Perfect for the task, also suitable for digging Terriers out of holes. Doesn't solve all my problems, but solved some of them—two thumbs up.

Fantastic tool, I have now dug out 15 holes 60cm deep x 400 dia……hard dig in clay and rubble and this spade excelled. Very sturdy and sharp.
