My kid wanted to learn to draw so I got him this it isn't something really fancy but it's still a perfect present for a kid the products in this pack aren't really made for proffesioneel artist but you probably wouldn't see a huge difference between professional grade supplies and this one if you aren't a artist the price is just a little high for what you get but you get a lot everything you need to get started witch sketching. For myself the charcoal didn't really want to dry on the sketchbook it really just sat their when touching it it just comes of the paper you probably need to buy another sketchbook if you want to sketch with charcoal the supplies are confinetely packed in a suitcase like box and aren't too heavy it is a little big though. but overall it's a good starter set
