Purchased this lid to go with this tub: Rubbermaid Commercial Space Saving Food Storage Container, 12 Quart, Clear (FG631200CLR) for use with my Anova Sous Vide cooker. Sous Vide lids are outrageously expensive for what you get so I cut a hole in this one at the corner, using an exacto knife and it's a perfect fit for the presicion cooker- but keeps the heat in, saving a bit of power. It also clamps the sous vide bags down to prevent the vacuum seal bags from floating or sinking to the bottom resulting in uneven cooking. If you are not needing this for Sous Vide, it has a good snug fit that snaps into place.

THESE ARE WONDERFUL RUBBERMAID CONTAINERS FOR STORAGE. THE LIDS FIT VERY WELL AND I AM EXTREMELY PLEASED.

Way to expensive and flimsy for the price. Also random puke colour was sent.

Used in conjunction with the 11.4 Litre container ( and the Anova precision cooker. Simply draw around the Anova holder on the lid and carefully cut out with a stanley knife. Lid creates a stable holder and a tight seal around the device.

Got these for our 4 quart containers. Fit perfect. Durable and flexible. I saw in the Q&A area that the manufacturer said these won't work on the 6 qt containers. I believe thats a partial fib. We also use them on our 6qt containers and while its a tight fit, they work just fine. Haven't noticed any wear. The 6qt tubs may not be meant for these, but they work if you apply a little pressure in the last corner to seal. After removing and resealing they seem to flex out and theres no problem. If you put them in the freezer they do become less flexible and don't work as well on a 6 qt. Frankly seeing the price the manu recommended lids, this is the better alternative.
