I've tested these but not in the long term, they are incredibly bright and very good at spherical even illumination! Not quite a point source but certainly not a narrow beam, the colour is also very warm like a good old fashioned bulb so really good in Classic Car Clocks...

All four purchased lamps (“Ruiandsion BA9S LED Bulb BA9 1895 1891 53 57 Warm White 12V 2SMD….” initially worked,……suspiciously bright/strong. Then started to smoke, melted and stopped working.Luckily it didn’t damage the (vintage) car.I suspect that the product is WRONGLY DESCRIBED/SOLD as 12 VOLT, whereas it is designed for 6V use.Hence, the non recommendation only refers to 12v use. For 6V use, they are probably fine.Upon my claim, a refund was immediately provided.
