- Koperionen van koperbanden kunnen reageren met het zwak zure slijm van weekdieren.
- Daarbij ontstaan elektrische ionen, die de slak het gevoel geven dat hij een elektrische schok krijgt.
De koperfolietape bestaat uit speciaal behandeld koper en niet-geleidende kleeflijm, die een goede hechting en geleidende eigenschappen heeft. En de temperatuurbestendigheid is hoog, met een werktemperatuurbereik van ongeveer -20 °C tot 120 °C.
De koperband heeft een goede kleefkracht en hecht sterk op bijna alle gladde oppervlakken. Het kan ook zonder resten weer worden verwijderd en beschermt je voorwerpen effectief.
Koperfolie kan gemakkelijk en zonder gereedschap worden gescheurd, wat het proces versnelt. Als je plat moet knippen, raden wij aan een schaar te gebruiken.
Breed scala aan toepassingen:
Koperfolietape is ideaal voor elektromagnetische afscherming van EMI en RFI. Als je je apparaten wilt beschermen tegen elektromagnetische en RFI-storingen, zoals Gitaarzoem en elektronische apparaten, zelfklevende koperfolietape is een eenvoudige en snelle oplossing.
Zelfklevende koperfolietape wordt vaak gebruikt voor de afweer van storingen, EMI- en RFI-afscherming, elektrische reparaties, solderen en aarding enz.

Le scotch cuivre est qqch qui ne sert pas à tous, mais quand on en a besoin ça change la vie !Personnellement ma principale utilisation c'est sûr des guitares électriques. Ça permet de blinder les cavités de micros et retirer une partie des buzz./! Celui ci n'a pas de conductivité entre ses deux faces. Donc on ne travail qu'en surface. Moins intéressant donc pour des utilisation de réparation de pcb.Je ne connaissais pas du tout l'utilisation de ce type de scotch comme répulsif à limaces. Intéressant.En conclusion il fait parfaitement le boulot que je lui demande.Il se travaille aisément et fait une bonne conductivité. La résistance est très faible.Ca peut permettre également de faire des plan de masses rapidement. En réparation ou en prototypage.

This tape is really easy to apply, the backing tape peels off easily and the copper tape is very thin so is easily pressed on to any shape surface although rounded or irregular shapes will cause a bit of distortion. Although it’s thin and tears easily I didn’t have any issues applying it to the top of a couple of large planters that are currently under attack from slugs and snails. I applied in pieces approx. 40cm at a time, peeling the backing as I stuck it down which made it manageable.I actually really like the way it looks, adds a bit of shiny stuff to the garden. Sadly however it does not seem to have deterred the slugs or snails that are eating my French beans and sadly my courgette plant is now a gonner. I can see dark marks where I think they are slithering over the tape and the state of the beans shows that they are getting past this defence so I had to resort to slug pellets this time. I possibly need to add additional strips to make a deeper area that they have to cross, experimenting is needed as it’s well known that copper deters them.
