Quite frankly a stonking LiOn battery pack. I bought this as a replacement for the older 2.8Ah batteries that after four years of being used and abused renovating a house and in daily use finally started to fail. With this bigger 4Ah battery I have given my 1+ tools a real uplift and they work as well as new but with far better life and performance. The additional power really helps when driving in long screws into oak.The quality is excellent and if anywhere near as good as my older ones will last a good length of time and take a lot of abuse. There is a battery life indicator which might be useful if you tend to use tools infrequently. However for me using these all the time I simply use them until they stop and then chuck them back into the 1 hour charger. Even doing this - which is not the best way of using LiOn batteries - I get decent life and service.If you want to maximise LiOn batteries then charge them when part used most of the time and then flatten them about once a month. There's plenty of engineering info out there on this subject. Or if you are a high user then just use them and don't worry about it. The cost is well covered in the amount of production you get out of them.They are large - no getting away from that. I don't have an issue with it but that may be a consideration for some.Big plus point is the Ryobi range of tools which is huge, reasonably priced and easily the equal of brands double the price. I'm a marine engineer and have also spent 30 years renovating and building houses. I've used every tool out there including some proper high end stuff. I don't consider Ryobi in any way inferior to the likes of Makita or DeWalt (Black and Decker).

Ce sont de très bonnes batteries fonctionnant avec de nombreux outils, pour ma part j'en utilise trois en alternance. Celle-ci est très bien arrivée, inutile de courir à Leroy-Merlin ou ailleurs. C'est top !
