I was a little sceptical, but when it arrived I was straight away impressed with the quality feel of this chainsaw.Putting it together was simple enough, but the YouTube video was more helpful than the instruction booklet (mainly because the print size was so small).Sadly it doesn't come with any oil (I'm sure I read somewhere that it came with some to get you started).Luckily I bought a litre of oil and headgear at the same time.Charged battery up fully (took less than an hour) and went into the garden to start working.Told my wife I was going to have a go at the holly.A few weeks earlier I'd tried sawing through the holly tree and gave up - it was going to take ages (same for a decaying apple tree trunk some months earlier).Within about 30s the tree was down. I couldn't believe it.Same applies to the apple trunk.Cutting up the trunks afterwards was a dream. I'd only used about 1/3 capacity.No kick-back either.It's surprisingly quiet and light. Head gear is essential, but you really don't need ear protectors.I've used a petrol one in the past, and the one I used was noisy, smelly and awkward to use. The battery one was a dream in comparison.Perhaps because the chain is new that it is very sharp so worked quickly. How long it will remain sharp - who knows.I won't be using it very often so I hope it will last years.I certainly don't need a spare battery - they are very expensive!I thoroughly recommend this chainsaw.
