I did not think to check the reviews before I bought this item, I hope that because you're reading this, you'll be better off than I am.The included cable is NOT 2m long. This is a shame because it says that it should be in the product description, and is in fact the main reason why I chose this product over others.Instead the cable is less than 1m, not very helpful for the purposes that I want to use this product for.I'd be returning this, if it wasnt so much effort and time. Not happy about this, though.

It looks like this hub may not provide enough power for hungry USB devices like HUDs etc.

I had a terrible experience with the seller of this usb hub. Not only did the product fail to deliver on its promises, but it also arrived with a major discrepancy that left me extremely frustrated. The advertised 2 meter USB cable was nowhere to be found, and instead, they included an unreasonably short one (80 cm). It felt like false advertising and a deliberate attempt to deceive customers. Even worse, the company's customer service was dismissive and unhelpful. They refused to send a longer cable or a partial refund and instead deflected me to Amazon customer support. I strongly advise avoiding this USB hub and seeking a more reliable alternative.Edit 2 months later:The misinformation about the cable length is still present after 2 months, this leads me to believe the seller is deliberately providing incorrect information to sell more units. Ridiculous that this practice is allowed, the seller should be fined and banned from Amazon.

Arrived yesterday. Plugged it in……and nothing. Contacted Sabrent yesterday, as recommended by Amazon. Got an automated response and nothing since.Sabrent appeared to be the most recommended on most websites that I visited, so we will see if I get any response today. If not, it’s getting returned and I will try to get a more reliable brand.

It’s not a powered usb hub . I bought it yesterday , got it today , will bring it back tomorrow. Totally useless

Voelt erg goedkoop aan. Veel speling op de knoppen en 1 daarvan functioneerd slecht (soms wel / soms niet).

I got this specifically to solve 60hz hum playing guitar through a USB interface. It has external power which is what you want for that and it works perfectly for that issue while still powering the 48v on the interface.

I had been using an Anker 7-port hubUSB3.0 (H7928-U3 - no longer available on Amazon) - with a 36 watt supply that it needed to work at all, yet this was power that it seemed to refuse to share with the connected USB peripherals. Hence USB3.0 bus powered HDDs wouldn't work, nor would a USB3 to Ethernet adapter.So after reading a few "best buy" articles I bought this Sabrent hub. It just worked like I had expected the Anker hub to work. I'll look for the Sabrent brand in future.Not worth knocking off a star for, but the only disappointment is that the LEDs to indicate the power switch to each port is on are so dim that they are only visible in a dark room ! But of course with any more light one can just about make out if the switches are pushed down !
