I've only been using this for a week now, but it's been a revolutionary improvement over all the other multiport USB-C chargers I've tested. When you plug and unplug devices, it doesn't 'reset' all the other ports. So I can have something like a Raspberry Pi or a communication device plugged into a port, and not worry about it hard resetting!I also enjoy the internal power supply (which is nice so I don't have to cable manage a giant wall wart), and like the fact it's wall mountable.The screen is nice, and the stats are great, though I would like to have a way to turn off the screen instead of displaying the 'Sabrent' logo 24x7 when not in use.I'd love to see a follow-up with either Zigbee or some other form of communication, so I can get data out of the device (the screen is nice, but integration with Home Assistant is even better, ha!). It would also be interesting if I could remotely control power to each port, that's something that may be possible with a more advanced controller. But those are just ways to make it better. It's already the best multi-port charger I've owned. A little expensive, but you get what you pay for!

Excellent. Perhaps the only charger that can deal with not dropping the other power levels when a new device is plugged in..However it cannot power a pi 5 I get a low power errors during boot using full desktop and 4k display.

It works as a charger, but the display is replaced by the "SABRENT" logo full brightness for no reason. I wanted the charger to be able to passively monitor charging, noticing when it changes on my desk. If the screen's only active when I press a button (and it's by no means instant to switch) then it's useless.It misses its mark on a minor design choice, but it's enough to ruin the feature.If the aim was energy efficiency, turn the screen off; don't just show the manufacturer's logo out of sheer vanity.I'm sending this one back.

Didn't work with my MacBook Air - charging just kept cycling on and off.

I am an avid cyclist and I use quite a few rechargeable electronic devices on my bike. I ride for an hour or more every day and all my electronic devices have to be fully recharged each day. Unfortunately some of them, like my Garmin RCT715 radar/camera/taillight, require a lot of power to recharge. Because the Garmin didn’t come with a power supply, just a cord, I’ve struggled with it for the last two years. It was always a roll of the dice whether the power supply I tried was going to have it fully charge by the next day. I’d leave it plugged in for 22+ hours only to have the battery die mid-ride because it wasn’t fully charged when I started. This left me with no rear light to alert automobiles approaching from the rear and that’s not safe. This was happening weekly and I had to find a solution.This Sabrent 252W charger has been a game changer. Unlike those power adapters I was using before that could only output a max of 5W (5V/1A) in ideal conditions, this Sabrent can fast charge as much as the device can handle. When I plug in my Garmin device, it frequently shows that it’s pushing 9W (5V/1.8A) initially, tapering off to zero when fully charged. While my old power supplies would fail to fully charge it in 22 hours, this Sabrent charger has consistently charged it to 100% in less than 4 hours. Problem solved. I will add that it’s doing this while also charging 3 other similarly power hungry devices.While the charging capability is nothing short of awesome, I do have one issue with it. While all my previous chargers left me blind as to progress of the recharge, aside from the blinking light on the devices, this Sabrent has a nice display that will show a summary for all connected devices as well as details for each item individually. This is a nice feature, but it is also where I am a bit disappointed in it. The screen by default only shows the Sabrent logo. To view the all eight summary or the details for any individual device, you must push the button on the front of the charger. That’s not a big deal except for the fact that the selected display does not remain visible. After a few minutes, the display times out and reverts back to the Sabrent logo. I could understand if the timeout was shutting down the display entirely to save power, but to have the display stay powered on while toggling back to show only the logo is frustrating. I’d like to be able to glance at the charger to see the progress, but I find I have to walk over and push the button to get it to display any useful data. I deducted a star for this issue.This is a powerful charger that solved a long standing issue I had. It ensures that my devices are at 100% charge and ready to go when I am. The charge progress information is great, but frustratingly the displayed does not remain where I set it.
