Werkt gelijk onder Windows en Linux zonder drivers te hoeven installeren.

This adapter uses a fake Prolific chip. The problem is Prolific (like other manufacturers facing this issue) built into the newer driver versions "safeguards" which would recognize if the chip is fake and refuse to work. The workaround is to download some old driver version from Sabrent website and force the system to use that one. If a windows update replace the driver with the newer version (not working with the fake chip), you have to manually force again the old driver. Is just not worth it and asking for trouble when trying to use an old, unsigned driver written for Windows 7 with windows 10 or Windows 11. Look for an adapter which use original Prolific or FTDI chips.

Used with my rollover serial cable for connecting to Cisco kit.Works well straight out the box and nice quality.Have brought them also for some serial devices for various applications and works a treat.Neat cable and good price.Always good having one of these as a network engineer!

Ich benutze den Adapter um in der Straßenbahnen Steuergeräte, wie die SIBAS16, auszulesen. Leider funktionieren nicht alle auf dem Markt angebotenen Adapter reibungslos mit der Diagnosesoftware und den Steuergeräten zusammen. Aber diese Adapter funktioniert hervorragend. Daher 5 Sterne
