Somehow I didn't believe that a self-adhesive towel rail would be satisfactory. And when I felt the weight of this rail I wasn't at all sure. However, I followed the very simple instructions and it has indeed stuck fast to the side of a kitchen cupboard. It feels very strong and stable, and the quality of the metal rail itself is first-rate. It is definitely worth following the instructions which tell you to clean the surface you are sticking it to with a cleaner that will remove any grease, using something like methylated spirits. It also suggests you stick it to a smooth surface and I think this is probably essential - I wouldn't stick it to a plastered and painted wall for instance as even if it stuck it would almost certainly damage the wall and remove some of the plaster. Tiles or smooth hard surfaces are ideal. I would also recommend making a couple of tiny pencil marks where you want it to be ensuring that you stick it on straight as you certainly can't move it once you have pressed it to the surface. A very good towel rail.

Porta asciugamani bellissimo, soprattutto nella colorazione nera. Ne abbiamo acquistati due per i nostri due bagni. Forse il prezzo è leggermente alto, ma per adesso siamo contenti. Prima di attaccarlo bisogna pulire molto bene la superficie, per adesso il biadesivo (6 mesi) tiene molto bene e non ha cedimenti.Per adesso lo riacquisterei

Looks lovely and stylish like all this range, but unfortunately it didn’t stick on the wall and fell off as soon as we put a towel on it.

This a sturdy piece! There's weight to it, and it feels solid. I love the matt black finish, it just feels expensive!Another huge plus is that no tools are needed for installation. It did smell quite strongly of adhesive when I took it out of the box, but I took that as a good sign. In the past I've been worried about adhesive installation, but I had some great success with some shower caddies recently, so thought I'd try this too.I used it in my kitchen to hold the tea towel and hand towel, and so far so good. It doesnt feel like its going anywhere soon! I'm really pleased with it and it's smartened up my kitchen lot.I wouldn't use it for bath towels as it's not quite big enough, but it works perfectly in the kitchen or the cloakroom. I'm happy with it and would recommend.
