Salter are fab - their products are always top banana, and so it is with this spaghetti scooperer. It’s well made, looks good, and it works.It doesn’t just work with spaghetti, either - I tend to eat vegetable noodles instead of pasta (have you tried parsnip noodles? They. are. amazing) and the Salter scooperer works just as well with my veggie noodles.Excellent!

I've got various kitchen utensils for stirring, mixing, scooping but always find myself reaching for the tongs when dishing out pasta or spaghetti. Thought I'd give this a go to add to the collection.Its fairly solid construction however the back of the metal shaft is sort of U shaped which I always find collects sauce and is difficult to clean, would have been better if the whole length was smooth and round with no crevices or folds. I guess the shape adds to the rigidity however I don't know how you're cooking spaghetti if you need the strength enough to lift kilos.I've often seen online in various "viral videos" that the slot in a spaghetti spoon can be use to measure portions however the 6 small slits in the base of this one, whilst good for draining water aren't helpful for measuring.

Solid and well made but the rubber handle marks really easily and in fact when it turned up it was marked a lot so didn’t look particularly good. Thanks fully it was sent as a free review item but if i had bought it I would have returned it and bought something else. 2 stars is when you don’t like something and I don’t but it got an additional star for how well made it is. A good quality pasta slotted spoon that works well is of a nice design and for a good price too.

It is mainly metal, so definetely solid enough.The handle is plastic, but it seems well secured.In general I prefer my coocking tools to be plastic because they are kinded to non stick surfaces.But my boiling pan are aluminium and steel, uncoated, so this salter cannod do any damage.Seems durable and good looking enough for the price.
