I got this pestle and mortar specifically for preparing my favorite dishes. I really love pasta, and my favourite ones include pesto and cacio e pepe.I make sure to season my mortar with rice and garlic before using it.Both the pestle and mortar are made of natural marble, which is 100% safe to use for this purpose.I really like that the mortar has very good weight to it, which means that it stays perfectly still on the table, and it is very comfortable to use.

I've been after one of these, finally i have one and it doesnt disappoint, its very hardy grinds with ease, and looks nice too! it came well packaged so it arrived nice n safe. Impressive!!

Very premium design which is ultra heavy weight and comes complete with the bowl and pastel which is fairly large in size and being the Salter brand you can rest assured that the quality will be top notch too! We have come to love making the likes of pesto and wet ingredients over the last year as it works out to be much cheaper! This is doing the job perfectly and being a marble finish you don’t get that scratchy sound and it’s easy to wash in the dish washer or by hand! Well packaged on arrival and ready to use :)
