Pros: roomy and super light; strong wheels that make very little noise; it looks good and it appears well built; plenty of handle height adjustment.Cons: flimsy work with the metallic brand tag, which was the first to go as per attached picture; the rubber around the stitches on the top edges scratch and get cut easily; it can get incredibly dirty.However, the cons are not a deal breaker. The tag came off during the very first trip while handled by the airport staff, but it is not important element anyway. As for the dirt, it cleans off easily enough.I would probably buy it again. The wheels survived 1km of potholed gravel road while carrying 20kg. Best features of this suitcase are definitely the wheels and weight.

Seit mittlerweile 3 Jahren treuer Reisebegleiter. Super leichtes Eigengewicht von unter 2kg, trotzdem sehr robust und gute Verarbeitung der Rollen. Die Aufteilung ist simpel, trotzdem sehr praktisch. Bei 8kg Maximalgewicht hat man gut 6kg "Zuladung". Dies macht den Koffer groß genug für einen Trip über 5-7 Tage. Der Trolley hat in den fast 3 Jahren über 20 Trips mit gemacht und sieht noch top aus. Dabei wurde er auch das ein oder andere Mal als Aufgabegepäck aufgegeben. Dies hat er alles problemlos überstanden. Rollen, Griffe und Teleskopgestänge funktionieren reibungslos und ohne Gewackel. Ich kann ihn uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

I spent ages searching for the best suitcase and so glad I picked this Samsonite Air spinner expandable suitcase. I bought 2 in the end. They withstood 7 separate flights from the UK and all over Thailand and Laos, two train journeys, a passenger speedboat and much manhandling into the boots of taxis. Although this size is classed as large it isn't 'too big' as some other brands can be larger. Because this case is much lighter than many hard cases and as we were going away for over a month we were able to pack plenty in without being over weight. Another factor for us is that we wanted a suitcase to have ease of movability, especially as my husband has Parkinson's Disease, so we had no difficulties covering the often long walks through airports and London Underground from Heathrow. The dark blue was cheaper than the black at the time of purchase and we also used a bright red strap around each case to help identify them on the carousel. The zips and locks worked well. The material and edges haven't even got a scuff mark after the long trip and one of my main worries were if the wheels were damaged by baggage handlers we wouldn't have managed but again they have stood the test, so definitely recommend.
