I've used the silky saws before, which have a slightly more robust construction. But as far as the blade is concerned, they do not cut nearly as effortlessly. The blade has a beautiful curve and can go through thick logs like butter. Fantastic value.

This saw works great, it slices through limbs of any size. I work for the park district and I keep this in my backpack for when trees fall into the roads or sidewalks during storms. It makes quick work of any tree limb, and it's easy to stow away in the backpack when not being used. The handle and grip construction are both great as well, it does not feel cheap, and I think the design is awesome too! And it's cheap! 5 stars for sure.
